How to claim a dorm in Evermore High
Walk up to a dorm door and use the prompt on it to claim the room. Each dorm has a room number, so remember yours. In gameplay footage, the claim screen also offers a choice of room theme.

Evermore High dorm themes
Several themes are offered when you claim a room. The video captions suggest names like a midnight theme, a modern city penthouse and a streamer loft, but the exact names were unclear, so treat that as a rough idea and not a confirmed list. Paper Swan Games has not said whether you can switch themes later. If you care about the look, take a moment on the claim screen before you confirm.
Stocking the fridge
The town has a supermarket called Fresh Organic Premium. In gameplay footage, the steps go like this:
- Pick up a shopping bag at the entrance.
- Choose items from the shelves, such as milk, bread, potatoes, chocolate and tea.
- Pay at the checkout with the cashier.
- Take the basket back to your dorm and put it in the fridge.

Cooking at home on the stove
Your room has a stove next to the fridge. The groceries you bought can be cooked at home. One player showed this after a cooking lesson, which fits well with the Evermore High classes where you stir, fry and plate a dish. Practising at the stove is a fun way to roleplay, but the footage does not show a reward for it.
Homework and the report card
Homework is done in the dorm. At the end of the school day, you read your report card in your dorm bedroom. It shows your attendance, for example 82% in one player's run, and a grade for each class. Grades run from A to F, and five warnings mean detention.
Numbers are examples from one run, not fixed values. To raise your grades, arrive on time and finish each lesson. Late arrivals and unfinished work, such as not handing in a cooked dish, can lower the result.
Getting between your dorm and school
Since the buildings are apart, plan your Evermore High dorm trips ahead. Classes start on the clock, so head to school when the bell rings.
